Description

THE NOTWIST "Shrink" LP on Community/Big Store, 1998. This is a hard-to-find vinyl copy of The Notwist's 4th? album, Shrink. While the band had been at it for some time in their native Germany, this was the first of their efforts to bring them any real notoriety overseas. This record saw them move away from the post-hardcore bag of tricks they had been plying and into the more melodic electronica sound that they have become known for with subsequent releases like "Neon Golden" and "The Devil, You, and Me". This record has still never been released in the States, which is baffling since it has all of the elements that made "Neon Golden" such a success. The songs featured here stand up to anything on the last two Notwist records, and fans of either will be equally smitten with this album. German pressing. Vinyl is in excellent shape. Cover is in similar condition, minus one minor corner bend, which is visible in the last photo.
