Original UK stereo gatefold LP, release date 1970 on the pink Charisma label, catalogue number: CAS1014 Matrix nos: side1) CAS1014A//4111 side 2) CAS1014B//4114 Condition of cover/record: MINT / NEAR MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover is a gatefold printed by E J Day, London & Bedford. Both front and rear cover surfaces are PRISTINE – no creases, tears, no splaying of the open edge, no writing or stickers – the top edge has virtually no wear marks at all, just dots and dashes of a thin wear line, no more than 2-inches in total. The other edges have no wear marks. The inner gatefold surfaces have just one 2-inch curved crease, and no other blemishes. Hence the MINT rating which I believe is fully justified. The spine is in perfect condition. The inner sleeve is white polythene-lined. The two labels do not appear to have any spindle marks – I looked very closely under bright light and could see none. As usual, there is no writing on either label. The record plays with very few light crackles – approx 7 or 8 on side 1 and just 2 or 3 on side 2. Overall the sound quality is exceptional, given that there are numerous quiet sections and so few crackles. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection.
