Description

Original UK stereo gatefold LP, release date 1971 on the pink Charisma label, catalogue number: CAS1030 Matrix nos: side1) CAS1030A-1U side 2) CAS1030B-1U Condition of cover/record: EX / NEAR MINT (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover is a matt finish gatefold, printed by E J Day, London. There are no creases, no stickers or writing on any of the surfaces. However there is a ½ -inch long tear ot the open edge on the rear cover, approx 2-inches from the bottom – see photo, hence the grading has been moved down from NEAR MINT to EX. There is a faint ring mark on the rear - approx a 3-inches long curve at the bottom. The front has some very light wear at the bottom edge – in all, approx ½ of that edge is affected with dashes and dots of wear, and a small wear mark approx 1/8th-inch by ¼-inch on the front cover gatefold edge. The spine is in perfect condition. The inner sleeve is white paper. The two labels each have 2 or 3 light spindle marks. The record plays: side a) overall EX+ there are two clicks on ‘How can you hold on to a dream’ and 3 or 4 faint crackles on this side; side b) MINT SOUND - NO CLICKS POPS OR CRACKLES AT ALL. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection.
