The debut LP from The Move. In its rarer Mono format. In 1968, Stereo was taking over from Mono.

This is the MONO mix and by far away, the more superior mix. More punch and clarity.

A VERY RARE LP from the late 60s.

Housed in one of the great sleeves of the psychedelic era. Designed by the Dutch art group "The Fool". Who were also responsible for the inner sleeve of Sgt. Pepper and the mural on the outside of the Apple Building in London.

This is also one of the RAREST LPs of the British Psych era. The Move were renowned as a great singles band. This is a very hard to find first pressing of their debut LP.
Much sought after by collectors of UK psych.

The sleeve is laminated both front and back with three flipbacks to finish.
The colour is still very strong and their is no crushing to the spine. 
All the flipbacks are still stuck down. And all text is visible.
The sleeve is printed by Garrod & Lofthouse in Great Britain and is Patents Pending.
A true first press sleeve.
The top right states the text "File under POPULAR : Pop Groups"

Overall I grade the sleeve Very Good+++/Excellent-. This is a lovely example.

The vinyl visually grades NEAR MINT!! It has obviously been played ONLY a few times and has NO visible surface lines.
And it retains its sheen beautifully. The vinyl is that lovely heavy weight 60s vinyl.
The sound quality is that great punchy Mono sound. 
The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable.


The famous mono Red Regal Zonophone labels are also excellent. With ONE spindle mark. All the silver text is still visible.
No writing or dirty marks or rips. I grade these as Excellent –.

GRADINGS

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised, as Sealed or Unplayed will be mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, possibly with light surface marks but there will be very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD + The record may have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only barely detectable crackles or pops. A slight noise at the beginning is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless. Definitely no scratches or gouges that a touch with a dry finger can feel. The cover may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

ALL RECORDS ARE PACKED IN PROPER MAILERS WITH STIFFENERS
