Description
Available here is a 12" vinyl record by The Move - Looking On. A UK 1st pressing, it was issued by Fly Records in 1970 with the catalogue number FLY 1.
Identifiers - This copy also has the requisite 1st pressing marks, namely -
Matrix / Runout - Side A Stamped - FLY 1 A - 2U
Matrix / Runout - Side B Stamped - FLY 1 B - 2U
Vinyl Condition - Excellent - Visually, the record is very bright and clean; you’ll have to look very hard to find any surface marks and there are no worrying scratches. Having listened all the way through, I can confirm that there is no jumping, sticking or clicks. Background crackle/noise is almost non-existent, although I found the overall sound a little muddy at times. Not sure if that’s the correct term but the album does feature quite a dense and heavy rock approach, so I suspect that the sound might be a reflection of the original production, given that the record looks barely played.
Sleeve Condition - Excellent - Original laminated sleeve - no damage and only the lightest signs of wear are present. Plain white inner sleeve in comparable condition and probably as issued
