En réponse à Paul 'Mr. tambourine girl' McCartney, Frank Zappa sort cet album avec sa pochette parodiant celle de "Sergent Pepper..  Les fustigeant les clichés hippies sont à hurler de rire ("Flower Punk") et on continue à douter de la franchise de Frankie qui a toujours prétendu ne pas toucher aux drogues.... Ici les morceaux sont courts, la guitare

None of the sounds are generated electronically... they are all the product of electronically altering the sounds of normal instruments. The orchestral segments were conducted by Sid Sharpe under the supervision of the composer.
