Description

THE MODERN LOVERS-ROCK 'N' ROLL WITH THE MODERN LOVERS 1977 BESERKLEY RECORDS LP JBZ-0053 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL!! Johnathan Richman and the boys on a return to garage rock with a power pop feel in this auction. The Modern Lovers are widely considered one of America's first New Wave bands, certainly an argument but to this listener they were more of a proto-punk, power pop outfit. This album has the feel I am talking about. Tracks such as Ice Cream Man, Egyptian Reggae, Summer Morning & Fly Into The Mystery all appear on this must own late 70's effort from the band. All fans of the Modern Lovers or the genre need this cult classic in their collection, it's a keeper!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition, nice and clean, plays well throughout. The cover has mild wear along the edges and minor rubs on the corners. The original inner sleeve has a small split. An awesome buy!!
$3 freight. US sales only!!
Thanks for stopping by my auction!!
