FONTANA RECORDS TF 1041 ~ Vintage 1969 pressing 7"
The MISUNDERSTOOD had an interesting history, coming from California where John Peel had spotted them. When he came to Britain, his first intention was to promote this band and get them over - and they issued several ace singles on Fontana. Although not succussful they did make some waves before members had to head back to the West Coast, work permits having expired. This their last 45 was a bit special - long too! It has to be their rarest release, but well worthwhile. The flip is a roaming psychedelic piece with meandering guitar backing. Nice!*
