Description
This single is from my personal collection. The vinyl is mint as I taped all my records "back in the day" and usually just played the cassettes. The vinyl looks perfect to me. The vinyl is black and PRISTINE, probably only played once or twice about 27 years ago. The picture sleeve is intact and is a wraparound sleeve with a plain white paper sleeve holding the record, and has 2 small pieces of tape holding the front cover against the back cover to enclose it. It is a great picture sleeve with a black and white big picture of John F Kennedy and red blood spattering from the back of his head with "Bullet" written to the other side of his head. This is the ORIGINAL record from the 1970s that Glen Danzig silkscreened himself, as I understand it. The inside of the picture sleeve shows some of the ink has bled through the cover, which you can see from the pictures I attached. The label is black with white writing. The MATRIX ETCHINGS are SP-1001-A MISFITS Rich Flores for side A, and SP-1001-B MISFITS R F for side B. There is also a small insert with the lyrics to Bullet and more blood spattering around Kennedy's head. The important thing with this lyric sheet, as I understand it, is that the word "DIRT" in the song is clearly DIRT on the lyric sheet, not "DINT" as apparently the bootlegs of this record have due to malfunctions in their copying of the real lyric sheet. Please see the picture which clearly shows DIRT in the song lyrics, with a touch of red blood spatter. Songs include Bullet, We are 138, Attitude, and Hollywood Babylon. The black label says Plan 9, static age music, PL1001-A, engineer Dave Achelis on both sides.
