Description
"The Michael Schenker Group" is the first album by the hard rock band Michael Schenker Group. It was recorded at Wessex Studios, London, UK from May-July 1980. The album was released August 1980 on the Chrysalis record label. The record was produced by Roger Glover, the bassist for Deep Purple. This is the 1980 ORIGINAL Japanese Vinyl Pressing on the TOSHIBA EMI label. The catalog # on the spine is: WWW-81376. The initial first pressing obi was matte, subsequent issues came with a glossy type obi. Inside is a Japanese liner note insert sheet, along with inner sleeve bag with the lyrics, credits etc., like the UK pressings. Both are NEAR MINT. The record itself was not stored in the paper inner sleeve bag, but instead, inside a soft lined Nagaoka inner sleeve. Record is visually graded by Goldmine standards as NEAR MINT. LOOKS UNPLAYED. The sleeve is graded as EX+. Record has been stored in a heavy duty anvil case since 2006. Record will be shipped following business day as soon as payment is received.
