Description

On offer here is an original 1st pressing of the self titled album from the 60s group The Merseybeats. this is a 12 track album containing the following songs,              

Milkman, Fools like me, Hello young lovers, My heart and I, He will break your heart, Bring it home to me, Funny face, Lavender blue, Really mistified, Jumping jonah, The girl that I marry,Dont turn around.

The vinyl has aquired some slight surface scratches, but none of these interfere with the playing of the record. I have played both sides on a Technics SL BD20 and there are no clicks or jumps on any of the songs. The vinyl retains its original shine and has the thick edged composition of the time. I therefore value this record to be in excellent condition.

The outer sleeve is of solid construction, with the exeption of a 20mm tear at the middle of the opening edge and a 10mm one 3inches above it. But all corners are solid, and the cellophane shine on the front cover has no bends or cracks in it. The back of the sleeve is in very good condition considering it is over 45 years of age and the three glued edges are solid and as they were when the cover was made. The inner sleeve is original and has some creases but no tears and has the cellophane window at its center.

Overall, this album is very hard to find, and in this condition even harder. It will make an attractive aquisition to any fan or collector of THE MERSEYBEATS!
