TITLE/ARTIST: This super rare and highly sought after four (4) song EP, with it's accompanying jacket, is by classic '50's group, The Mello-Kings, from the very early years of R'n'R - 1957 - and is yet another one of those records that I once thought I'd never let go!. The EP is entitled, "The Fabulous Mello-Kings", on the original, yellow with black print, Herald Label - and is the first and only EP this short lived group ever released (see the pictures above for all song titles and much more). In my opinion, this EP (both the record and jacket) are in outstanding overall condition. I don't think anyone will be too disappointed with the condition of this piece, even though it isn't quite perfect either. I will be listing other old, rare, and hard to find 45's, EP's, and LP's in my future auctions, so please check my site out from time to time - as there are hundreds more to get to yet. LABEL INFO: The Herald Label (HEP 451) is super clean and nice with nothing negative to mention, other than an easily removable "numbers tag" on one side only (again, see the pics above). But otherwise,I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates very little, if any, actual play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also very, very good - extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing in much need of a mention either - in my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased, but does show just a few super light (and I do mean super light) surface/paper lines on either side. Seriously, I really don't see this as much of a flaw, but........ JACKET: This EP's cardboard jacket is also in real good overall condition - although there are signs of early and light  "aging/wear" along the seams and on the backside - the front side looks just great. So, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. INTERESTING FACTS: This is one very rare EP, and yes, in my opinion it is primarily very, very clean and nice, not to mention how ridiculously difficult it is to find anymore, so please have at it.
