Description
THE MAD -FRIED EGG- 7": Extremely rare original 1979(80?) pressing on DISGUSTING RECORDS SMG-123. Has the very cool, and rare, Original 2-sided Fold-out POSTER SLEEVE. Sleeveless copies resurfaced in the late 80s without a sleeve so many of those either remained sleeveless or have some kind of xerox sleeve (flex). The Poster sleeve is in very nice shape. Sturdy poster stock has no seam splits. Band side of poster is very clean. Lyric side shows a light yellowing from age along a couple of the outer seams. A few VERY LIGHT stain spots here and there, but nothing too noticable. Price sticker on front cover. Record is in very nice shape with just a few very light surface scuffs that don't affect play. Nice and glossy! Overall a great copy of this classic early KBD record.
Just FYI, Screaming Mad George (The Mad's singer) did the special FX for Re-Animator plus loads of other movies and also directed some (like Mutronics). Julien H also played with The Cramps for a while. Hisashi Ikeda (bass) committed suicide, Johnny 19 (sax) died of AIDS(flex).
