Description

Up for auction today is the rare LP, Satan Is Real, by The Louvin Brothers. Released on Capitol Records in 1960, Satan Is Real has become a highly sought country/gospel LP in recent years. This album came from a smoke/pet free Milwaukee area couple whose small record collection I recently purchased.? I’d like to see where the market values this incredibly rare LP, so I’m running it with No Reserve!

In an attempt to make bidders as comfortable as possible, I've included many photos of the cover and vinyl, as well as a YouTube link of both sides of the album playing.? I have NOT cleaned this record and thought I’d leave that up to the new owner. What you see is how I pulled it out of the cover.

I consulted my Dad, a lifelong vinyl collector for help with grading this LP. We both agree that the vinyl is a true Near Mint grade. I’m much more comfortable grading vinyl than covers, so I’ll let the large photos of the cover do the talking for its condition, but it too is quite nice. Please note the ring wear on the front and side binding wear. The white on the back cover is still very bright and yellowing is not present.
