DESCRIPTION TITLE: THE LOST CONTINENT OST COMPOSER: FRANCESCO LAVAGNINO LABEL: MGM RECORDS #E3635 ST MONO LP RELEASE INFO: 1956 original US vinyl 1st Press FORMAT: 33 RPM, LP, 12" RECORD CONDITION: Vinyl is shiny. It has some sleeve marks and some hairlines. There is some noise between some tracks and in some quiet spots, but they don't detract from the music or the listening experience. Labels are yellow and black with "NOT FOR SALE" stamped on them, also the radio station file number is handwritten on the labels. COVER CONDITION: Cover is very glossy and presentable. It would look terrific framed. The bottom seam is tight and solid, with a 1 inch split at the opening. The spine has been taped, but the tape split and now there is a seam split running from the top left corner down about 7 inches and over the top seam about 1/2 inch. The top seam has a bit of shelf wear and about a 2 inch seam split at the opening side. The top right has a corner bump. The radio station file number is typed on a piece of tape and attached at the top left corner and hand written on the top corner back cover. "NOT FOR SALE" is stamped on the back cover. It is a well used copy, but the seam wear issues and file numbers are on the sides and luckily don't detract from the very attractive glossy cover. It would be awesome framed. See photo. NOTES: From 1956, comes the soundtrack to the film The Lost Continent on MGM E3635 MONO. This rare LP contains music recorded directly from the soundtrack of the film. It is a rare documentary dealing with the lost continent of Atlantis! This movie won prizes at Cannes and was the prize-winning film at The Berlin Film Festival of that year. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good Luck With Your Bidding!
