Still sealed LP. Cover is very nice (sticker on shrink). Definitely original shrink. LP is from a radio personality's collection (mine).
Originally from Colorado, this obscure band was signed for a one-off deal with the small Encino, California-based Mega Phone label for whom they produced this eponymous album in 1968 before eventually morphing into one of the best underrated psychedelic bands of the sixties, Dragonfly, also on Mega Phone. Serving up a mix of poppy psych originals and a handful of inspired covers (including The Who’s “The Kids Are Alright”, The Troggs’ “With A Girl Like You”, and Bob Dylan’s “Baby Blue”) this album is a rare slice of early, and surprisingly radio-friendly Southern Californian psychedelia. Far more impressive were the band's stabs at a harder rock sound, including the fuzz guitar and feedback propelled 'Where Oh Where Is Mother' and their vox-powered cover of Dylan's 'Baby Blue'; always liked the song's sitar fadeout. - Discogs
