THE KRYSTALS s/t rare Original Canadian Garage Psych Rock lp M-
1971/Canada/Fourmost Records MS-8943….. here’s a clean original pressing of their only lp which is quite rare and especially hard to find in this clean condition. The cover is in clean VG+ to VG++ condition with slight corner wear and light shelf/ring wear, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no splits or delete. The vinyl is in M- condition with just some small inaudible storage stains/blemishes. The record looks and plays clean with slight noise between tracks due to the Private press nature. The fidelity is clean and up front on this custom deep groove pressing. The labels are clean with one very light small spindle mark. A gorgeous copy of this rare lp! The Krystals were a rock band from the Labrador City/ Wabush area of Newfoundland and Labrador. When Stan Erbrink of early '60s Dutch act The Black Knights finished his engineering studies and went to Newfoundland in search of work in 1966 it was the end of his band. It was in Labrador City where he met Maurice Caines who had just left The Keatniks and they formed The Krystals in November 1966 with Hynes and Lucas. After beating around Newfoundland and the East coast of Canada for several years, Erbrink was left rebuilding a new version of the band in 1970. Their self-titled, self-finance debut album was recorded at R.C.A. studios in Montreal in November, 1970 in one continuous 18-hour session.

GRADING
MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.
M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.
EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.
VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
