I will be offering a selection from my personal collection of 60s to early 70s Garage, Pop and Rock.

          THE KOALA      "THE KOALA"    CAPITOL SKAO-176   1969   FREE IMPRESSION STAMP

 

     This new York city band was discovered bt the producers of the Blues Magoos who secured them their deal with capitol and it was decided to market them as an Australian band. This their sole effort included tehir 45 release "Don't You know What I mean/ Scattered Children's Toys". Thirteen original songs  which mix frantic rhythms and Stones' like garage rock psych leads and proto punk vocals. this is High Energy Garage Psych Punk !!!!!  Very scarce even though it was on a major label, the band soon broke up after the release of this record. Track titles include "Look at the Way She Comes", "Poor Discarded Baby', "Colours of Our Rainbow", " Yesterday's Rain" and "Lady Dressed in White" its a shame this band didn't have the time to grow as their potential was enormous....

 

RECORD: VG++  High Gloss, no spindle wear, Beautifulexcept for two marks , one on each side

COVER: Strong VG+   Very good condition slight ring wear and some fraying along the seams BUT with...No major ring wear, writings,stickers, stains, seam splits cut outs or other damage     a FREE IMPRESSION STAMP on the upper corner
