Vinyl weight: 150g (rigid)
In my ownership since bought new in the '80s. Has been stored in a PVC sleeve (included in sale) in a closed record cabinet. Played only on high-end Thorens TD 166 and Linn Sondek turntables fitted with A&R C77 and E77 cartridges
Gradings based on those of 'Record Collector' (see below for grading explanations)
Sleeve(Gatefold) - estimated to be in EXCELLENT+ condition
As far as I'm aware an exact replica of the original laminated PYE MONO Sleeve, though the record is STEREO
Covers - Virtually undamaged, very light scuffing near bottom of front cover
Spine - Two light half-inch creases and one heavier one-inch crease
Edges - No scuffing, wear or lifting of opening side card
Corners - Virtually no scuffing or wear
Inner Sleeve - esimated to be in EXCELLENT+ condition
The original plain white paper with no tears, wholly undamaged MADE IN ENGLAND R.S. 1-84 printed at base of one side
Disc- estimated to be in EXCELLENT+ condition
Anti-static pad applied before each spin though never cleaned
Played less than ten times as it was taped shortly after purchase
Perfectly flat
Retains its original bright clean gloss
Wholly undamaged, no scratches, scuffs or marks even when inspected under a bright light
No clicks, pops and sundry unwanted noises and sound quality remains as good as it ever was to my ears
Label - estimated to be in EXCELLENT+ condition
No spindle marks, no fingermarks, no damage
Essentially a record in 'as new' condition, as it should be having rarely left my record cabinet!
Very much doubt it's as collectable as the original Kinks '60s PYE recordings, but hope it's of interest to someone
