THE KINKS The Kink Kontroversy 1965 PYE MONO 1st UK Press RARE!!
This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks
Details:- From my own personal collection - RARE - THE KINKS The Kink Kontroversy 1965 PYE MONO 1st UK Press released on the original red Pye label catalogue number NPL 18131. 1st press matrix A1/B1, record housed in the original 'patents pending' flip-back sleeve by Garrord & Lofthouse, plain white inner sleeve
Vinyl Condition:- VG+ visually but sounds and plays as an EX grade. Gleaming vinyl with just a few minor light surface hairlines that are not audible and do not effect play This record has been fully test played before this auction
Sleeve Condition:-VG+ Generally noce condition sleeve with no serious wear. A few blemishes on the white border and edges on the front and light crease in the laminate at the top. The back has some light blemishes and age discolourtion and there is the original owners name hand-written in pen at the top right hand corner. The spine is crisp and fully readable
Label Condition:- VG Some spindle marks on both sides and a little wear around the spindle hole

MINT: I only used this grade for new or unplayed records. I use the grade NEAR MINT
If a record has been played, even if the condition of the record and sleeve is perfect.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
