On offer is the LP, SOMETHING ELSE BY THE KINKS, on REPRISE, catalogue number RS 6279.
Second in the run of Kinks LPs of god-like genius, starting with Face to Face and culminating in Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire), this is the one with’ David Watts’, ‘Death of a Clown’, ‘Two Sisters’, ‘Waterloo Sunset’ and nine other incomparable jewels. Released in 1967, this is a later, USA pressing on their US label, Reprise. I would date it from the seventies because of the ‘$2 for my own limo?’ coupon on the inner sleeve, a Warners marketing campaign that ran from 1969 to the mid-seventies.
The disc is a firm near mint, and has likely never been played (or once, just now, for the purpose of grading). The cardboard sleeve is excellent, with straight edges and only a minor blemish in some printers grey ink following the circle design on the edge of the back (see picture). The labels are pristine, and untouched by spindle-marks,
