The Kinks - Something Else By The Kinks (Reprise Records RS 6279) Stereo 1967 U.S. 

 Jacket is VG++ in the factory shrink. Shrink separation bottom left corner - some wear to that corner - as well in a few other places. Shrink is also separating along jacket opening. Has a sticker trumpeting "Fantastic Savings 87 cents" - I'll say! Tiny drill hole with metal rivet upper left (see photos). Vinyl is a solid M- with full gloss and fantastic sound. 1C / 1C stampers (etched). Tri-color Reprise labels are exceptionally clean and bright as well. Original inner sleeve promoting contemporary releases on the Reprise label is slightly yellowed and has a tiny split on the bottom edge. This LP is stored in and will ship with a poly-lined archival inner to protect the original and to better protect the fine vinyl. 

 This is a beautiful example of this classic 60s LP on the original tri-color Reprise steamboat label in top condition - even though the cover isn't perfect this is still a highly collectible record due to the exquisite vinyl and labels. Features David Watts, Death of a Clown, Lazy Old Sun and Waterloo Sunset. Ray Davies was maturing as a songwriter by this release and the overall sound is more experimental than the straight-up rock sound of the earlier work. Some important information:

I am a serious collector and I don't sell anything that I wouldn't play for my own listening enjoyment. At the same time I'm not going to brag about my grading genius, or hustle people about how no one used profanity in or near the pristine environment that my records were stored in, or how they were acquired from a hermit who only played them once to tape them (unless it's true!). The sub-heading at the top of the page says it all - I sell fine vinyl.

All records are packed professionally in proper record mailers. They are placed in poly outer-sleeves outside the album cover to prevent seam-splits, often in an extra inner sleeve, especially in the case of custom original sleeves which need extra protection. They are then placed in between two stiff cardboard inserts with an additional square of bubble wrap outside of the vinyl side. Edges and seams are then neatly sealed with quality tape for maximum protection. Sealed records are packed with similar care. I do not skimp on packaging - no improvised french-fry boxes stuffed with newspaper from this dealer! All orders are shipped via Priority Mail after payment so that you receive your item, or items in a timely manner. If you win multiple items I will provide you with a shipping discount of $1.00 for each additional LP, $1.50 for each additional Double LP. Outside the U.S. combined orders will be discounted fairly on a case-by-case basis.
