Original 1967 UK Pye Pre-Release LP

'Very Thick'  197 gram weight pressing

Hand typed 'Advanced Promotion Acetate' labels

Matrix MPL 18193 A-1 * M  /  MPL1813 B-1 * M  then scratched out  MPL18193B1 * M

Complete with White Card (flipback) Sleeve , with type written 'For Release 15th September 1967' heading , followed by the albums release information....

A 'Top Drawer' Kinks rarity -  Very few were made , and seldomly appear ..... if ever .... 

The album was previously owned by Tony Barrow - of Brian Epsteins staff in the 1960's ,  who compiled sleeve notes for Beatle releases such as the With The Beatles  LP ......

Grading:-

Side One - Light surface  use .... lovely bright surface gloss .... no marks , possibly  a couple of very faint surface traces  .... Plays Really Well

Side Two - Light surface use , lovely bright surface gloss  *Note* there are a few audible small marks leading into 'Love Me Till The Sun Shines' and several revolutions into the track, but then Plays Very Well

The  Sleeve - Mild storage use , quite clean - the Sellotape has browned with age over the last 45 years .......

I usually start auctions at a low price to generate interest in bidding

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly

All items carefully packaged using proper cardboard packaging (I do not use low quality preformed mailers)

The discs are placed seperately from the sleeves within the package to avoid splitting or damage . Items are sent promptly - usually within one working day of payment .
