The KINKS began as a tough Mod RnB band, snarling vocals and grinding garage guitars.
As the 60s became more sophisticated for British music, the ever observant brilliance of Ray Davies' leadership saw them more creative and enthralling lyrically.
Imaginative concept pieces kept the fan's interest, and it continued through into the 70s and onward!
Here's a fine example of this great band's progression.

The SINGLE CARD COVER is lovely EX to NM.
