Description
THE KINKS LP "FACE TO FACE". Issued in the UK in 1966 on the Pye label Cat No NPL.18149 (mono). The laminated flipaback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition - is in nice shape but has slightly discoloured as can be seen in the photos - no tears or writingor even creasing to speak of, just the white areas mainly on the rear showing their age. The label are in excellent condition. The vinyl plays perfectly and is certainly in EXCELLENT condition. I'm having a slight clearout of my collection and some records, like this one, will only be listed once!

Vinyl is graded both by playing for quality of sound reproduction and visually to ascertain any marks be they light hairlines or surface marks etc. Sleeves are graded by looking at all edges, taking careful note of any creases, corner bumps, sticker tears, writing, discolouration - and general feel. I am a fussy collector so it comes naturally to also be a fussy seller! Records are posted separated from their outer sleeves to prevent edges splitting and I also use white inner sleeves to stop any special inner sleeves splitting. I use PVC protective covers and cardboard stiffeners in special cardboard mailing envelopes to send my records in. I am dismayed at some of the records I receive that have been sold as "Excellent" and whilst I can’t claim to be the best or perfect I have 25 years of vinyl collecting experience and I know a nice condition record when I see one. I don’t believe in overgrading, or overhyping. I don’t like adding too much blurb to my selling page but when I received yet another "Excellent" record with its sleeve edges worn and scruffy along about 75% of its length from a high-feedback seller with accompanying comment of "Rare in this condition" I felt it was time to say I am more diligent than most!
