Description

Here's one of THE KINKS GREATEST LP'S (IMO)..  FACE TO FACE was released in 1966, and it features some amazing songwriting and production.  I personally always thought their songwriting was at a more sophisticated level than The Stones or Beatles, but that is arguable.  This copy is the FIRST MONO on the REPRISE TRI COLOR LABEL pressed in 1966.  The LP looks and plays MINT.  The cover is still in shrink with 2 cover price stickers.  There's a factory ponch hole top left corner.  The cover is amazing, but with one fault;  There's some brown toning on the front cover at the opening, worse towards the bottom.  The original REPRISE INNER comes with the LP, and  is in beautiful NEAR MINT CONDITION.  The Kinks would have been even more successful if they weren't banned from America in the mid 60's.  Their music continues to grow on me with every listen.  A rare beautiful mint playing copy of this treasure of an LP.
