CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO: VERY GOOD; as with all of my records, this has been play graded from start to finish. Both sides played through fine without any jumps, sticks or loud pops. The audio is bright and clear in the main, but there is some typical background crackle noticeable in places (moreso towards the end of side 1 and on side 2) as expected on an old mono pressing played on modern equipment. A more than reasonable listen.
VINYL VISUAL: VERY GOOD; the vinyl has noticeable light scratches and surface marks but nothing that affects play. Looks reasonable.
LABELS: Both OK with some light marks and some spindle traces (see photos below).
SLEEVE: VG/VERY GOOD(+); the sleeve is still very presentable with a nice bright clean front but has some laminate creasing and minor 'feathering' to the opening edge. One 5cm split to the middle of the top edge. The rear is more than reasonable, with all flipbacks completely undamaged. It does have some age wear and light marks (please see the photos below).
SPINE: EXCELLENT; some minor wear, but still nice and square with all text clearly legible

GRADING
All of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.
I will never grade a used record as Mint as I do not believe that a second hand record ever truly can be. Therefore, if I grade as Near Mint or Excellent(+) then you can assume that is as near to Mint or Archive quality as I believe it can be. Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.
I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.
I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.
POSTAGE / SHIPPING
I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.
For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.
As a general rule, shipping costs will be discounted.
Shipping rates quoted are valid up to a total sale value of £2500 within the UK and £500 for overseas buyers.
UK buyers please note that any item or items with a total value of £46 or more will be sent by Special Delivery Next Day with no exceptions. Please ask for a quote or wait for my invoice if the final sale is more than £2500.
Overseas buyers please note that any item or items with a total value of £25 or more will be sent by International Signed For with no exceptions. Please ask for a quote or wait for my invoice if the final sale is more than £500.
CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS: Please note that for overseas orders from outside the EU I am obliged to complete a customs declaration and must enter the true value of the package's contents on the declaration. It is the BUYER'S responsibility to ensure that all import duties are known and paid.
Please send me a message if anything is unclear and I will be happy to help.
RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
