MOST COPIES THAT SURVIVE ARE IN POOR CONDITION-THIS ONE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH  NO MARKS AND A LOVELY GLOSSY SURFACE 

MOST WOULD STATE NEAR MINT!

The Mono mixes are brilliant and full of bass.

THE MONO MIXES WERE THOSE THAT THE BAND OVERLOOKED AND HAD TOTAL INVOLVEMENT WITH! 

Those that were sticking with mono were usually using terrible old and heavy equipment and using worn styli or nasty autochangers that would scuff the discs forever in seconds.

Also the Stereo mixes that exist are ELECTRONIC STEREO are very hard to listen to with Bass on one side and most of the treble on the other.

The MONO mixes are far punchier but is rather flat on the CDs that have come out!

 Vinyl is still the best way to hear THE KINKS and always will be!  

There is HARDLY ANY spindle wear!!!

GRADINGS

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised, as Sealed or Unplayed will be mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, possibly with light surface marks but there will be very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD + The record may have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only barely detectable crackles or pops. A slight noise at the beginning is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless. Definitely no scratches or gouges that a touch with a dry finger can feel. The cover may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
