The Kinks - Face to Face (Pye NPL 18149)
Original Dutch pressing in mono that comes in the original UK flipback cover.
In the 60s and 70s, when British record pressing plants were overwhelmed by orders for a hit LP, they would have the LPs pressed in Holland and placed in British-printed "flipback" covers. MANY of the Beatles LPs came this way. This constitutes an early pressing and reads "BIEM" and /or Made in Holland" on the labels.
What is a "flipback" cover ? In first pressings of this era, UK LP covers had the outer edges of the front bent over the back cover like an envelope.Very collectable....
And this LP is in mono!

Laminated flipback cover is in VG+ condition. Just a corner of lamination missing (see picture). Record is in VG(+) condition, has hairlines but it plays surprisingly well on my high-end audio system.
