Description

THE KINKS ARTHUR or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire.       IN MY COLLECTION SINCE NEW.

Released in 1969 on PYE Records NSPL 18317A -1 *T STEREO and NSPL 18317B-1*T STEREO  1st pressing ?????????????

The vinyl is in good condition and plays without jumps although crackles can be heard between tracks. (Needs a good clean I think).

The cover is of quite thin card, laminated on the outside only, and has some small tears mainly to left hand spine, and a small puncture to the cover where it must have had something dropped on it while the record was out of the cover.

I seem to remember that PYE had a reputation for iffy quality during this period and this is certainly reflected in the quality of board used used to produce this cover. Having seen others for sale on EBAY this seems to be the norm.

THE BEST BIT!!!!!!!!!!!   THIS HAS THE QUEEN VICTORIA INSERT as shown and is totally original having been in my collection since purchased new.
