Matrix Numbers:- Side One: NN1096 - A 2T Side Two: NN 1096 - B 2T (the '1' has been etched over on both sides of the disc)

Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc have only the most minimal signs of use , in that there is just one or two of the smallest traces of ' in and out the liner sleeve ' surface traces , no marks or wear evident at all.........The sound quality is remarkable : Strictest of grading at Visually MINT minus (99% Mint) Aurally MINT condition.

Label Condition:- Very light use , minimal spindle use : EXCELLENT condition (photo below)

Condition of Sleeve:-

Front: The laminated front has light use only, with just a few, very small , light crease traces : EXCELLENT condition.

Rear: Very clean and bright , just a light ringwear line near opening edge : EXCELLENT condition.

Spine: Perfect , and still has the 'pinched' feature top and bottom : MINT condition.

Super copy, complete with correct Pye liner sleeve......................................

Notes:The Kinks: Ray Davies, Dave Davies (vocals, guitar); Pete Dalton (bass); Mick Avory (drums).Additional personnel includes: Jimmy Page (12-string guitar); Perry Ford (piano); Jon Lord (Hammond B-3 organ); Bobby Graham (drums).Recorded at Pye Studios, London, England in 1964. This album was initially intended as a way to cash in on the primal magic of "You Really Got Me" before the Kinks got too stale for the fickle youth. However, history would show that this tidy R&B combo had one of the most inventive and creative bandleaders in '60s and '70s rock - Mr. Ray Davies.......... there are hints that Davies would become one of the most unusual and melodic songwriters of a generation. One listen to "Just Can't Go To Sleep" and it's clear the die was cast: Davies had a voice all his own.This album would also be of interest to connoisseurs of young, white R&B on the order of the early Who and Rolling Stones........................................

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I realize the requirements in the gradings of sleeves and discs , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised in listings ........I notice that the usual practice by many sellers on eBay is using the buzzwords 'Stunning' , 'Superb' , 'Awesome' 'etc etc etc...... and have grossly long-winded descriptions .............these 'experts' also add technical information , which is totally unrelated and untrue to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading , and tends to hide the fact that the items on offer are only Average/Very Good , substandard items........and a 1000 word essay with vague photographs does not make what is a VG condition item into Mint condition item.................. I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records........

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice....)
