Description:  I have the pleasure of offering for sale on EBay this rare first issue picture record disc from Kate Bush 1st issue album “The Kick Inside”, on the first issue laminated sleeve. Record comes with clear plastic inner sleeve with right sided blue stripe, with no manufactured by E.M.I in Great Briton on record rim, a true first issue Kate Bush picture disc.  This record comes from a family archive collection, which I am now putting up for sale, giving someone else the opportunity to purchase and own this rare Kate Bush record.

Record Sleeve:

The back and front laminated sleeve is in excellent condition, the sleeve has very little signs of wear. The sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. – (See photos for information). 

Label:

The labels are in excellent condition with no writing, labels show little signs of wear, with “Remember Yourself” scratched in the record run off area.  The record shows very little spindle wear. (see photos for information)

Record:

Record condition report I have played the record twice both sides and it has excellent audio quality lies flat on the turntable with excellent sound quality. I would grade this record as near mint 1st issue without the (manufactured by E.M.I in Great Briton on record rim) indication a true first label issue, and not the more common second record issue which is more usually found offered for sale. So you are bidding on a 1st issue record in near mint condition with a fully laminated sleeve, record sleeve also in excellent to near mint condition no creases or writing in bright and attractive quality condition. This 1st issue record has the original poly inner with the dark blue stripe on the right side, inner sleeve in excellent condition. (See photos for more information)

I am not a professional record dealer just selling family owned records, and have tried to give a full and honest account of the records condition.  My grading of this record is near mint with excellent sound quality, comes with excellent condition record sleeve and poly inner sleeve.

The Record Grading

MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition, I only grade sealed records in mint condition. The cover and any extra items are also unused in As NEW condition...

NEAR MINT:  A nearly perfect record, with only the slightest cosmetic flaw – no audible defect, Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional scratch.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
