Description
Well here it is for the first time, and probably the last one, on Ebay, the legendary THE KATZ single from 1979. This is the stuff wet dreams are made of, GREAT PUNK / POWER POP single that was made privatley in small quantity (200 copies only) in 1979, by the band. Only the the hardcore collectors know about this, and what a single it is, better then nearly any other UK single on KBD / POWERPEARLS or any of the other compilations.I have never seen this before, and only know of 2 other copies in the hand of collectors. The single was pressed privatley by THE KATZ , without a label name, it was pressed in the SRTS pressing plant, and the catalogue number given to it is SRTS/79/CUS/533, The songs are: TALKIN' BOUT YOU / I'M SO NASTY. The single NEVER came in a picture sleeve, and the condition of the vinyl is EX ( only paper scuffs, some people will grade it much higher), The labels are also clean , and in EX++ condition, one of the labels havr the band's logo on: a drawing, showing a lion go through a brick wall. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW GOOD THIS SINGLE IS, MUCH RARER THEN ANY OTHERS LIKE THE JERMZ / BEEZ ETC..., THIS ONE NEVER SHOWS UP. This is a MEGA rare PUNK / POWER POP single, and you will probably never see this again, I had to put a high reserve on this, so bid high if you want it.
