Description

This is an auction for a very rare LP of one of the projects of L. VOAG and THE HOMOSEXUALS named here 'THE JUST MEASURERS' (on UK label It's War Boys, # £5, released in 1982 or 1983). The LP has 16 tracks incl. the eponymous 'It's War Boys' and comes with a lyric insert. On the back of the cover, it lists the members as: 'C.D. Greyt, Yakko Banovic, Narki Brillans' (Narki Brillans = Jim, bassist of The Homosexuals = L. Voag). One of the LP's labels is a hand-pasted cut-out image from a magazine - each LP has a different one.

I have or have had most of the 7", 12" or Cassettes released by these artists under various names : The Homosexuals, L. Voag, Amos (& Sara), Narki Brillans, The Fear Merchants , and many others ...  in my opinion this LP, which came out at about the same time as the "SARA GOES POP" 2 x 7"45, is one of the very best of the 15 or so releases on the It's War Boys / £ label ! I believe that only a few hundred copies of this LP were made.

The LP is in at least EXCELLENT+ condition : played, but handled with great care. The cover is EXCELLENT : barely noticeable, light ringwear on the front and some wear to the bottom seam, from storage. The lyric insert is NEAR MINT. BEAUTIFUL COPY !
