THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE, ‘AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE’ AN ORIGINAL 1967 UK FIRST MONO LP IN GATE-FOLD SLEEVE WITH RARE GATE-FOLD POSTER, ON THE TRACK RECORD LABELS – CAT No, 612 003.
First released in 1967, this original first issue mono vinyl LP is on the Black with Silver Printed Text Track Record labels.
Both record labels are in Excellent condition, undamaged record labels, with a few light signs of play to each centre of the record labels.
Side 1 matrix: 612003 A 1 and Side 2 621003 B 1
Record 1 Side 1 stampers: 1 M and Side 2: 2 MA.
Both sides of the LP are in very nice Excellent Minus condition, clean vinyl surfaces with no deep scratches or scuffs with just light surface hairline scratches.
The LP play’s with a great sound quality through all tracks, there are no clicks, pops or skips, there is just mild background static mostly between the tracks and more evident on side 2, otherwise a great sounding LP .
The rare lyric poster is in Excellent condition, no tears or writing with just a crease on the bottom edge caused by the insert being folded inside the sleeve, and a small rub mark, looks like glue.
The vinyl LP comes in it’s original Made in England white polythene lined record bag, and is housed in its first issue E.J. Day Ltd London gate-fold sleeve, laminated to the front and back with fold-over flaps to the inner gate-fold centre, the sleeve is in very nice Excellent Minus to Excellent condition, the bright colours have remained rich and un-faded, with only mild signs of LP storage.
The centre gate-fold part of the sleeve is in very nice Excellent condition, the fold-over flaps are undamaged, and there is no fading to the images and text.
The reverse panel, edges and spine edge are all undamaged.
This is a very nice example of this rare first issue 1967 mono LP with original lyric insert sheet.
