Description
DEFECT: There is a "pop" at the beginning of "Purple Haze." If you place the stylus right at the beginning of the song (or use the automatic feature on your turntable), you will hear the pop which can cause it to skip and it will cut off the very beginning of the first note. HOWEVER, if you place the stylus as far back toward the edge as you can, the stylus will track through the pop, which you will hear, followed the clean beginning of the first note.

RECORD: This is a MONO white label promo which I would have graded as VG+ or better if not for the pop on side one so I will be conservative and guarantee at VG. The LP is in a company sleeve.
COVER: The jacket is halfway decent, readable spine, has wear on right edge of bottom seam that is either on the verge of splitting or possibly a repair; this is the way I bought it recently.
All of which means, if you've always wanted an original mono copy (and/or a promo copy) of this album, this is your chance! If you're willing to "baby" the record and treat it carefully and you're not looking for a Mint copy (or cannot afford to buy or bid on the VERY expensive mint copies which show up), this is a good opportunity to acquire a nice, solid, good-sounding copy at what should turn out to be a fairly affordable price.
