THE JAZZ-HIP TRIO. JAZZ IN RELIEF. 1967 1ST PRESS. MAJOR MINOR RECORDS. MMLP7A 1/MMLP7B 1 MATRIX. GRADES EXCELLENT+.

 

My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable (easily equal to an LP12) with Glanz MC cartridge, pre/power amps and Castle speakers.

 

Played on my system this LP grades Excellent+. Side one grades very close to Near Mint while side two has just a couple of clicks to track one and one click to track two – other than that it’s as good as side one and in my opinion the whole LP merits an Ex+ grading.  The laminated single slip flipback cover is very good with just a few small thumbnail creases to the front laminate and a couple of very small faint stains to the unlaminated back (see photo).
