Description
All you JAM, and MOD fans, this is a ONCE IN A LIFE TIME opportunity to buy, what must be one of THE JAM rarest artifacts, a one sided U.K. 7" acetate of THE JAM "MOVE ON UP" from 1982, which was one of the bonus tracks on the double pack single of "BEAT SURRENDER" in 1982. The Jam coverd the Curtis Mayfield song "MOVE ON UP" for a bonus 7" single, that came as a limited double pack single with "Beat Surrender" in 1982.
This was only pressed in a handfull of numbers and was given away to key record company people, and radio DJ's (where this copy comes from) as a promo for the single / E.P..
I have never seen another one like it for sale, or in a collection EVER !!!. The ACETATE was cut at STRAWBERRY studios where the band recorded at the time, and come with THE STRAWBERRY STUDIOS labels.
The ACETATE is in EX++ condition (never played), and is ONE SIDED, it plays like a new record. The whole thing is ORIGINAL, and came from a radio DJ who was friends with the band in the day !!!
This will almost definitely be your only chance to get this unique item, so bid now !!!
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE E-MAIL ME, AND I WILL ANSWER THEM. There is a reserve on this rare piece of MOD history, but considering the rarity of the item, it is a low reserve. For this item I will prefer payment by cheque (UK buyers only), but will also accept PAYPAL payment from buyers outside the U.K.
Please check out my other auctions for rare PUNK / POWER POP / MOD / NWOBHM / SYNTH singles. Thanks for looking, and thanks for bidding.
