Description
This classic rock LP by The James Gang is a must-have for any music lover's collection. Released in 1969 on ABC Records as catalog number ABCS 688, "Yer' Album” features blues rock, psychedelic rock, and hard rock styles.
The gatefold LP cover is in very good (VG) condition, with the original inner paper sleeve also included in very good albeit wrinkly condition. The vinyl record itself is in very good plus (VG+). Please review the detailed photos included in this listing.
The vinyl matrix number is ABCS-688 A BLS 6034 A LW SS / ABCS 688 B BLS 6034 B LW SS LH. This LP is a piece of music history and a great addition to any collection!
From Wikipedia… In the locked groove at the end of side 1 of the LP version of the album (which is normally silent on most phonograph records), the spoken phrase "Turn me over" repeats in a loop, while the locked groove at the end of side 2 repeats the phrase "Play me again". Both phrases were spoken by Walsh. A 'producers note' in the gatefold warns listeners not to spoil these endings to friends who have turntables with automatic return.
I played this LP completely through on both sides on my audio-technia AT-LP60XBT turntable without issues. It plays very well and rock out hard! Included on this LP is the song “Funk 48”… the prequel to “Funk 49” from the group’s second LP…
