Description

Original copy of the double album 'Young Man From Woking' by The Jam. Features 19 songs recorded live at Hammersmith Odeon, 27/2/1982. Vinyl is in very good condition, but sleeve has suffered some water damage which has resulted in staining, so I'm starting this auction at a low price. It's a great opportunity to get hear this album without paying inflated collectors' prices.
Please note - cover states that this album came with a bonus single. This copy does not include a single and, having made enquiries, it seems doubtful that the single was ever actually included with the album.
Please get in touch for worldwide or registered postal costs.

***Extra information*** since writing the above description, I've been able to find out some more details about this album. Firstly, despite what it says on the sleeve, the first record is actually taken from a radio broadcast recorded at Golders Green Hippodrome on 19/12/1981. The second record is a recording from the Sun Plaze Hall, Tokyo on 10/7/1980, which explains the difference in the sound quality between the two records. Also, the track listing for the second album is different to what is listed on the sleeve. Further to this, I have also been informed that this copy is the UK version of the album and that it was also released in America and Europe (possibly Germany ?) The vinyl is black and the labels are white on the first LP, but the second LP has printed labels featuring an odd cartoon and the word 'Empire' (God knows what these refer to !) If you want any further details, please get in touch and I'll try to help !
