THE JADES So Tough Mega Rare Private Texas Teen Garage Jack Calmes 1964 OG Mostly unknown about 1964 Texas Frat Rock LP by THE JADES, titled IT'S THE JADES. Issued on CHING RECORD Co. or THE CHING AGENCY A tough sounding white boy bad attitude style of pre Beatles surf, frat rock with a little dance motion thrown in. Similar to THE RIVIERAS, early KINGSMEN, with JERRY COLE styled guitar licks. Nothing is documented about this LP under Google Search, There was a similar band from Texas listed but not this one Update, there is a mention of this LP under "Jack Calmes The Jades" on Google Search What is known about this JADES LP is the Lead Guitarist and Band Manager, JACK CALMES. Reportedly started "SHOWCO" a professional lights, sounds, staging and logistics company which stated in the mid 60's, provided equipment for the 73, 75, 77 Led Zepplin tours, and then split off into "SYNCROLITE" a Major Million Dollar Architectural and Theatrical Production Company, plus getting "hitched up" with MORGAN FAIRCHILD for awhile, lucky man that JACK CALMES. But for some reason Mr. Calmes does not talk much about his first band and LP, THE JADES. THE JADES IT'S THE JADES LP CHING RECORD CO.
