Description

  • The J. Geils Band released their tenth studio album "Freeze-Frame" in October 1981 on EMI America Records. It was the band's most successful album and it spent four weeks at No. 1 on the charts propelled by the hit singles "Centerfold" and "Freeze-Frame."  But it was also the last album with original lead vocalist Peter Wolf. The band broke up after an unsuccessful follow-up album without him.

  • This is an extremely rare Brand New copy of (SOO-517062) from the First Pressing in 1981 and is still Sealed in its Original Factory Shrink Wrap. Please see the pictures of this Mint Condition and unopened copy, but note that the photos of the disc labels and inner lyrics sleeve are from another copy. This record was mastered by Joe Brescio at the Record Plant's Cutting Room in NYC and was pressed for Columbia House at the Columbia Records plant in Terre Haute, Ind.

  • In addition to its original sealed packaging, this album will come with a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright and unopened on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 40 years.
