The Iveys - ‘Maybe Tomorrow / And Her Daddy's A Millionaire'. APPLE 5
The Iveys 1968 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Maybe Tomorrow / And Her Daddy's A Millionaire' 7” single. Released on the 15th November 1968, this is one of the very rarest UK Apple singles to obtain. It sold in very, very small amount and failed to make the UK charts. This is also of particular interest due to the earliest 1 G stamper on the b-side.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the dark Apple label both sides feature the ’Sold In UK….’ text. The b-side has an embossed ‘KT’ tax code embossed but this is quite hard to see. The vinyl comes housed within the original 1968 Apple Records sleeve.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1: APPLE 5 A-1 1 A KT
Side 2: APPLE 5 B-2 1 G KT
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition on the a-side and MINT- condition on the b-side.
Both labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
