Description
TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is one of those very early, rare and highly collectible LP`s by the group called The Innocents (just prior to becoming Kathy Young's backup group) from 1961. This is their very 1st and only album, in original mono, and in addition to everything else, it is a promotional, "Audition Copy" release (as printed on both the jacket's backside and the record's label). The LP is entitled "Innocently Yours" and features an interesting picture of the group behind prison bars on it's jacket's front side. The album includes twelve (12) great songs, including their hit singles, "Honestly I Do" and "Gee Whiz" as well as 10 others - all in MONO and all in outstanding shape (please see the pictures above for all the song titles and more). And, it is yet another album in great overall condition - both the vinyl and the jacket. LABEL INFO: This original, Indigo Label (LP 503) is nearly perfect with no serious issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates very little actual play time. I've shown a picture of the "Audition Copy" which is printed on the label (see pics). VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in any need of a mention. It is very close to perfect and, in fact, shows no spindle lines around the center circle. JACKET INFO: Finally, this attractive jacket - again, with Audition Copy" printed on it's backside - is also primarily very, very good, but it does have a couple minor flaws. There is a small amount of light "aging" which is visible primarily on the backside only, and a previous owner's light writing in ink at the very top right, backside corner (again, see photos). I'd think both light writings would be easily removable if one desired to do so. I've tried to show this flaw in the pictures above. Otherwise though, this jacket is just fine and has no serious issues at all. INTERESTING FACTS: Maybe this ultra rare (especially as a promo copy), early '60's LP isn't absolutely perfect, but it isn't far from it! In my opinion, it's in excellent overall shape, so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I take a great deal of pride in packaging all my mailings both safely and securely. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. But, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
