Description

"Basic Musical Library" Radio Transcription Disc produced by The Armed Forces Radio & Television Service.  Two Radio programs on this 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm disc.   This disc was issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public, very rare!

"Basic Musical Library" radio program P-167 featuring The Ink Spots with the songs "If I Didn't Care", "Java Jive", "A Lovely Way To Spend An Evening".  These songs are most likely from 1943-1944 radio broadcasts, and most likely personnel include Bill Kenny, Hoppy Jones, Charlie Fuqua, Deek Watson

"Basic Musical Library" radio program P-168 featuring Stan Kenton & His Orchestra with the songs "And Her Tears Flowed Like Wine", "In A Little Spanish Town" vocal Anita O'Day, "Russian Lullaby", "Lost My Sugar In Salt Lake City" vocal Anita O'Day

Disc is in VG- condition with light surface scratches and surface noise, sound is better than it's condition, VG+ or better.  There is some surface noise towards the end of the last Ink Spots song.  

Please note that due to their size, most standard turntables will not play 16" radio transcription discs.  If requested, I can make A CD copy of the disc for the buyer only
