THE HUMAN INSTINCT Renaissance Fair b/w Pink Dawn (Deram DM 177) RARE UK 1st Press EX++
RARE original UK first pressing of The Human Instinct`s classic single, "Renaissance Fair" b/w "Pink Dawn" on Deram Records (February 1968).
New Zealand born and raised, The Human Instinct spent a two-year residency (August 1966 - September 1968) in the UK, recording five singles for Deram Records in the process. All five singles have left their indelible imprint on the wider Holy Canon of British Psychedelia, with tracks such as "A Day In My Mind`s Mind" part of the staple diet of countless psychedelic compilers. "Renaissance Fair" b/w "Pink Dawn" was The Human Instinct`s fifth and final, masterful outing for Deram Records.
GRADING:
EX+ SLEEVE, fine condition for its age. Please see photos for details.
- Custom-printed Deram Records sleeve.
- Slight all-round creasing, as shown.
- Small tear to opening edge on rear sleeve.


VG+ to EX RECORD in very fine all-round condition.
- Near-peerless audio reproduction throughout.
- Some crackle in run-in grooves, as well as in the run-off. 
- Both sides visually VG+ with general hairlining, mostly from sleeve removal.
- A single, inaudible scratch on each side, with no clicks or pops whatsoever.
- Two-tone (tan/white) Decca Records labelling with missing centerpiece.
- Small initials ("MR") on the B-side label.
