Here we have The History Of The House Sound Of Chicago...From The Very Beginning... This is one massively incredible collection - a full dozen 12" LPs containing 120 tracks housed in a box set with a softbound booklet highlighting the artists, tracks and history of the music. The majority of the vinyl in this set looks unplayed. A few records have very minimal evidence of play. On visual inspection this will grade a NM overall even though I suspect only the first few discs of this set ever felt the needle. All original printed LP sleeves are present as well and look to be NM. The included booklet is NM if not better. I'll grade the box as VG+ based on two factors - there is yellowing on the left edge of the spine and the flimsy paper hinge that holds the cover on the box has some wear and separation. Not unexpected in a box carrying the weight of 12 LPs for 26 years. This one is long out of print and hard to find, especially in this kind of condition. Please refer to the photos.
