Pressing Features:
- Recorded at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on November 2, 1966 (quintet) and November 23, 1966 (sextet).
First MONO original issues have:
- Blue & white labels with "A division Of Liberty Records, Inc."
- Van Gelder stamped in run-off.
- Non-laminated gatefold jacket with "43 West 61st St., New York 23" address inside the gatefold and "A Product of Liberty Records" on front.
- Cover front has "BLP 4250" ONLY...STEREO copies have "BST 84250"
- 114 etched in Side 2 run-out, denotes an All Disc Records, Inc Pressing. - - Issued with 1939-1966 27 YEARS BLUE NOTE THE FIRST NAME IN JAZZ inner sleeve (included)

Record Grading: (VG/VG+)
Vinyl surface is bright and glossy with some light wear:
Side 1 has few long goofy scuffs and various superficial hairline marks which surprisingly DNAP...plays crisp and loud with minimal background or surface noise and some light crackle during quiet sections and track transitions.
Side 2 surface is cleaner with mostly sleeve storage marks and plays with less crackle thoughout.
Both sides play very well and close to VG+ overall with Blue Note's deep groove vinyl and Van Gelder's quality sound engineering.
Sleeve Grading: (VG/VG+)
Fully intact sturdy gatefold sleeve cover has edge, corner, ring and spine wear. (see pics) Spine is mostly legible.
