Description

Here's a nice promo copy of a single by Jerry Berryhill (aka Jerry Capehart) & Group: "Love on the Run" b/w "I Remember Love" (Liberty 55657). Released in 1965. Jerry Capehart is best known for his work with the great Eddie Cochran. Here, he is backed by The Honeys, who are listed simply as "Group." The Honeys are (were) Ginger Blake, Marilyn Wilson and Diane Rovell, the girl group produced by Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. Here they lend their vocal talents on one side only, the "I Remember Love" side. Both sides are instrumentals, but The Honeys provide their sweet "woo-woo-oooh" background vocals to "I Remember Love." This song appears on the compilation, "The Honeys Collection" released by Collectors' Choice Music several years ago. And if you bought this CD as soon as it was released, then your copy erroneously lists the Honeys singing on "Love on the Run." Subsequent issues of the CD correctly list the song as "I Remember Love." Honeys fans should check to see which version of the CD they own! Anyway, this record is in VG+ condition. Just some wear and writing on the labels. But the vinyl is nice. Just some minor paper scuffs. High gloss.
