THE HONEYCOMBS

DENNIS D'ELL, ALLAN WARD, PETER PYE, JOHN LANTREE, HONEY LANTREE

Mostly renowned for their 1964 Top Five hit "Have I the Right," the Honeycombs

in their hit-making years were pretty much a vehicle for producer Joe Meek

and the songwriting-management team of Ken Howard and Alan Blaikley.

The group was originally formed in Hackney during November of 1963...

RECORD  EX (please, read above description)

SLEEVE STRONG VG+ (please, see pictures and read above description)

Their second album, All Systems Go, attracted little attention here in the UK,

but it did include their earlier US-only 45, I Can't Stop.

Retrospectively it's of interest to some collectors because of the inclusion of an otherwise

unreleased Ray Davies composition, Emptiness...(Tapestry of Delights)
